Darlene Davis Hord Darlene Davis-Hord

DARLENE DAVIS-HORD believes that she is in the prime of her life and has a “passion to see men and women find their true identity in Christ and discover their divine purpose".
Darlene holds a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University, a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Divinity at the University of Fort Lauderdale. Darlene’s professional background is in Sales and Marketing in the Hotel & Tourism Industry. She reigned as Ms. Bahamas and participated in the Miss Universe Pageant.
Darlene feels that her most valuable life achievement was in October 1987 when she gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Darlene has lived and traveled all over the world and has been very active in numerous Ministries; in the Bahamas under Dr. Myles Munroe, in Los Angeles with Pastors Andre & Sandra Crouch and Bishop Clarence McClendon, and now Bishop Henry Fernandez in Florida. She has also served in the areas of prophetic intercession, praise & worship; altar worker, inner healing counselor, teaching, women’s ministry and special events.

HORACE HORD is Senior Vice President of the International Career and Business Alliance, ICABA®. Horace is also President & CEO of HCH Marketing & Consulting Associates, Inc. Horace has the distinction of holding top executive positions in the Airline, Hotel, and Cruise Line industries. Horace’s career in Travel & Tourism, begin with American Airlines in New York, where he was recruited, and served as the Director of Marketing, Atlantic/Caribbean.  He was essential in launching the first cooperative television advertising campaign for the Caribbean region. After transferring to Miami, Horace served as the committee co-chair for the Miami ten (10) year, Long Term Tourism Plan, and initiated the first Miami coop advertising campaign.  

 

In 2000, Horace was recruited to serve as President & CEO of the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association where he lived and worked in Aruba four years. Upon his return to the U.S.A., Royal Caribbean recruited Horace serving as Regional Vice President of the Caribbean Region, and later as Associate Vice President of Global Community Relations for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.  Horace instituted a formal mentoring initiative at Royal Caribbean to assist youths in foster care.  

 

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Horace attended The Lincoln University, PA. He currently serves as Secretary of the Board of Florida Memorial University, and Board Member of the Coral Springs Martin Luther King, Jr., Committee. Horace has four daughters: Stephanie Wallace, Gabrielle Hord, Kristen Hord, Ericka Cooper, and five grandsons: Elijah, Miles, Lennox, Otto, and Cook, one granddaughter Ophelia. He is married to Darlene Davis Hord, former Miss Bahamas. They are both ordained ministers and are members of The Faith Center in Sunrise, Florida.

SANDRA CAREY recently retired after serving as a Deputy Consul General to The Bahamas Consulate General, Miami; she served more than 30 years as a senior career diplomat with extensive international experiences. Having also served as First Secretary at the Bahamas Mission to the United Nations and simultaneously as Acting Consul General of the Bahamas Consulate General, New York as well as Deputy Head of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires at The Bahamas Consulate General, Atlanta Ga. 

DCG Carey holds a Master Degree in Government Policy and Public Administration, Bachelor's Degree in Languages and Diplomas in Conflict Resolution from the International Peace Academy for International Relations, Philadelphia, Institute of International Relations, Trinidad and Tobago as well as a Certification in Protocol and Cross-Cultural consular matters from the National Association of Foreign Consuls in the United States, Consular College Corp. Washington DC.  Presently serving as Minister/Counselor, DCG Carey has the responsibility for administrative matters and, staff training in protocol and diplomacy in her organization.

JOLINDA HERRING is a practicing attorney in the law firm of Bryant Miller Olive P.A. She currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the Public Finance Group of Bryant Miller Olive P.A. Ms. Herring's practice is dedicated to municipal law, governmental tax-exempt financings and blue sky securities law. Over the past five years, she has completed 145 transactions totaling over $5 billion. She is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers (“NABL”), served as the Chair for NABL’s 2019 Bond Attorney’s Workshop and served as the Chair of NABL’s 2011 Fundamentals of Municipal Bond Law Seminar. Additionally, she is a frequent speaker at NABL workshops and Florida Government Finance Officers Association conferences. Ms. Herring graduated from Florida State University College of Law, received an M.B.A. in Finance with honors from Vanderbilt and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Fisk University. She is involved in the community and serves on the Board of Trustees of Florida Memorial University, Graduate of Leadership Tallahassee Class XVIII, Board Member of the Hamptons West Condominium Association, member of Miami Biscayne Bay Chapter of the Links, Incorporated and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She has won numerous awards for both her legal and volunteer work. She attends New Birth Baptist Church in Miami, Florida.

BERNADETTE CLAYBOURNE is a Christian woman, wife, mother and successful business entrepreneur. In addition to her ministry, “Behold His Glory,” she was the owner of the most influential African-American newspaper in Broward County; The Broward Times. Bernadette and her husband Keith and their Sons are the Largest Golden Krust Franchisees, owning 11 Restaurants in South Florida, with over 250 employees. She has been married for 37 years to Keith, and they are the proud parents of 4 young men, 3 daughter-in-laws, and 5 amazing grandchildren.

MYRTLE PURDUE is a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida; a Board Certified (BC) Nurses Executive (NE) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has a BS in Nursing from University of Miami, a Masters Degree in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and a Masters Degree with Emphasis in Leadership in Health Care Systems from Grand Canyon University. She is a member of Nu Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International and Chairperson of The Alternative Program.

ARLENE L. CONNELLY is a Life Enrichment Strategist and Servant Leader who has dedicated over 25 years providing executive leadership, management and administrative experiences in nonprofit and higher education serving adults, at-risk youth, families and underserved populations.  She is a creative visionary who designs, develops, manages and evaluates programs.  She is a Certified John Maxwell Speaker/Trainer & Coach as well as an Organizational Leadership Development Professional, a Healthy Relationships and Family Strengthening Coach, a Career & Positive Youth Development Specialist and a Certified Global Career Development Facilitator.  She is published author of Let Your Daddy Lift You Up - Healing Daddy Issues to Build Healthy Relationships. She is a feature writer for Shulamite Women Magazine. Ms. Connelly is an entrepreneur and Founder/CEO of ISEE GROUP, LLC which is an emerging Human Development Company whose mission is: Restoring the Vision for Vibrant Relationships, Thriving Families and Stronger Communities.  The company provides consultation, training, coaching and transformational events. Arlene is a Community Activitist serving on numerous boards including DOZ WOD AND Youth Speak Out International.  She is a member of The Faith Center serving in various ministry roles.  She is a sought after speaker and mother of a beautiful daughter.

Natasha Fernandez-Johnson

NATASHA FERNANDER-JOHNSON  is a woman who loves the Lord, loves His Word and lives her faith daily.  She has navigated a successful career that spans more than 21 years in a variety of management roles for Fortune 500 companies.  She has worked for notable institutions like Wachovia Bank, National City Bank, and PNC Bank where she is currently Vice President and Workplace Banking Market Manager for the Florida East Market.  As for her spiritual journey, she gave her life to the Lord in 1990 and was baptized in Nassau, Bahamas.  She currently serves under the leadership of Bishop Cornelius and Pastor Sheila Black.  She has been the Women's Ministry President for the past 3 years and was ordained as a Minister in November 2018.  She has a dual BSc degree in Finance and International Business.  She is a mother of two and a grandmother. One of her favorite quotes is "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.

APOSTLE BILLY THOMPSON is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Jesus People Proclaim International Church (JPPIC) for over 15 years, now residing in Deerfield Beach, Fl. He is a profound revelator, teacher, and encourager whose heart is Kingdom-minded to see believers fulfill God’s purpose in life, and Proclaim God’s life changing power through the love of Jesus Christ. This understanding is what propels him as he travels locally and internationally, ministering a word of hope, healing, and deliverance through Apostolic/Prophetic revelation. JPPIC has a diverse and progressively growing membership where he and his wife, Cynthia Thompson, serve the communities that encompass Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade.

Till this day, Billy Thompson is revered and loved as one of the top elite players of all time to play for Israel.

CYNTHIA THOMPSON is a multi-talented entrepreneur, speaker, life coach, and author of The Power of a Prophetic Mindset and the Woman You Will Journal: a 40-Day Journey to Change. Diverse in her gifting, she is also the, publisher of the Woman You Will Magazine-a premier magazine of empowerment for women, and creator of the aromatic beauty and fragrance line Ascension, which includes her soft and delicate signature fragrance “Release”.   

 

Anointed with a true apostolic and prophetic call, her desire is to impact the world by restoring, perfecting, building and training believers to fulfill their destiny. In 2004, she founded and established Boca Raton’s first Prophetic Training Center. The Center’s focus is to teach and train 5-fold ministry officers and marketplace leaders to operate in the fullness of their prophetic power and authority. The Training Center consists of the Prophetic School for adults and the School of the Gifts for children. Furthermore, the Training Center sponsors 3-day Apostolic & Prophetic Intensive training seminars for churches, ministries and individuals throughout the United States and the world. She along with her husband, former NBA great Billy Thompson (Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat), Senior Pastor of Jesus People Proclaim International Ministries Church in Boca Raton Florida, oversee a multi-cultural, diverse and progressively growing membership of believers which encompasses the Broward and Palm Beach County communities. With all the aforementioned, her greatest joy comes from being the mother of 5 beautiful children Geneva, Arnell, Mercedes, Billy Jr. and Micaiah.

MYLA REIZEN is a partner at the K&L Gates Miami office. She is a member of the global health care and FDA practice group. 

 

Ms. Reizen concentrates her practice in health law, representing health systems, hospitals, academic medical centers, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, hospices, physician groups, and other health care entities and providers. 

Ms. Reizen focuses her health care practice on government and internal investigations, health care regulatory matters, and compliance. She advises providers on government and qui tam matters ranging from quality of care issues to physician arrangements and coding and billing matters. Ms. Reizen has been providing a significant amount of information and resources to the nursing home and long-term care communities during the pandemic.

 

Ms. Reizen is an active member of the Florida Bar and the community. She currently serves on the Board of Dare to Care, a not for profit organization serving food, clothing and basic needs to the South Florida Community. Ms. Reizen also currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Florida Memorial University, the only HBCU in South Florida. She has also held leadership positions on the Florida Bar Health Law Executive Council. 

 

Ms. Reizen is a frequent presenter in national and state venues on compliance and legal issues. She has been a contributor to a number of national and state publications. 

Board Member, Graduate of DOZ, Mentor, Event Committee

 

AVI SAMSON was born in raised in South Florida. She gave her life to Jesus Christ and received the water baptism at the tender age of 16 at the Haitian Evangelical Baptist Church of Pompano in 2001.  She was actively part of the worship team /choir and a leader for the young women in the youth. Avi has a passion for young women. Her mission is to help young women love themselves and value their worth. 

 

Avi Samson is a graduate of Florida International University in 2006 with a double major in Public Administration and Criminal Justice. Avi has worked in the public sector for over 13 years.

 

Avi attended the Faith Center Ministries for 7 years, during that time Avi was the Director for the Young Adults Ministry, assisted in the box office and worked with product liaison team for special events and Dare to Care.

 

In 2016 ushered into a new season and graduated from the Daughters of Zion – Women of Destiny Transformational Program.  Avi is the recipient of the Most Congenial Award which is an award selected by the mentees and won second place for the most decorative table. Avi currently serves on the hospitality committee for Daughters of Zion – Women of Destiny program.

 

Avi is a newlywed of two years to an amazing husband Edy and currently serves as members of Christian Life Center in Fort Lauderdale.  She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and loves watching basketball and football.  Her hobbies and interests include cooking new recipes, planning and organizing special occasions such as weddings. 

 

Avi’s pursuit is to be what God purposed for her to do and to serve others. One of her favorite bible verse is Mark 9:23 “Everything is possible for one who believes.”(NIV)

CB BURTON was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and attended Overbrook High School. After completing high school, he continued his education at Southeastern Academy in Florida. Post graduation he received a position with US Airways and retired with 26 years of service behind him.  Following his successful career with US Airways,  CB became the proud owner of three Rita’s Water Ice franchises in the Philadelphia area.  He later sold them after 13 years of ownership.

 

He then started working at, Traci Lynn Jewelry with his wife Dr. Traci Lynn as Vice President, of the company.   CB believes that "your success will shape itself to you, to fit the exact pattern of your efforts  and those effort should have an expiration date to encourage you to keep moving forward until your dreams become your NOW Reality."

JEROME HUTCHINSON JR is a serial entrepreneur, and servant business leader. Hutchinson is the Founder, and Chief Servant Officer of ICABA® (International Career and Business Alliance, Inc.), a, global career and business development company assisting accomplished professionals and entrepreneurs of color achieve their career, business and lifestyle aspirations. 

 

He is also the Managing Partner of JHJ Marketing Group, LLC, a South Florida based marketing agency providing its clients with culturally relevant strategies executed through engagement marketing, experiential marketing, advertising, public relations and social media.

 

Hutchinson enjoyed a successful career as a radio executive from 2002 through 2008 serving as General Sales Manager for three of the nation’s top five urban radio stations.  Prior to entering the radio industry, Hutchinson made history when he and his Father launched WYCS-TV, Kentucky’s first African American owned television station in his hometown of Louisville, KY. 

 

Hutchinson has been active serving on numerous boards and has been widely recognized with awards for business and civic leadership.  Hutchinson has also been featured in local and national media for his civic and business leadership.

 

Hutchinson is single and has two (2) daughters, Kristin and Naomi. He is a member of Potential Church and resides in Sunrise, Florida.
