About Us

Daughters of Zion Woman of Destiny Transformational Wellness Mentorship Program is a Non-Profit Corporation, in the South Florida area. It was launched in 2015 with the sole purpose to enhance, motivate, develop, mentor and empower the next generation of women.  The program focuses on the internal and external growth process in each participant. It is a biblical and practical program designed to create an opportunity for the more seasoned and accomplished women to reach out to teach and empower the next generation of promising women into greatness within their community.

Titus 2: 3-4 “Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live not to be slanderous or addicted to wine but to teach what is good. They should urge the younger women to love their husbands and children to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind and to be subject to their husband, so that no one will malign the word of God.”

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts (plans) that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil to give you a future and a hope.”

Romans: 8:30 For whom He called He predestines, these He also called whom He called, these He also justified and whom He justified these He glorified.”

DAUGHTERS OF ZION: WOMEN OF DESTINY

VISION

Daughters of Zion-Women of Destiny is a transformational program to help young ladies become Women of Destiny. Our aim is to transform the lives of women to showcase God’s glory in the way that they present themselves and live their lives. The program will teach sound biblical and practical life principles, applicable to walking out their purpose, wellness, self-identity, social graces, etiquette, physical and nutritional fitness, financial and time management, leadership and spiritual mentoring.

MISSION

Our Mission is to teach, activate, enhance, refine and transform women into powerful creative Women of Destiny. We encourage utilizing the principles for wellness: Body, Soul and Spirit. Teaching ladies how to be Women of Excellence wherever they are called to function within their community.

WHO IS IT FOR

This program is for “Daughters of the King in the process of becoming Women of Destiny.” For young ladies from 21 years and up. It is a preparatory program/seminar series for ladies who are contemplating, and/or preparing themselves for a prosperous profession in the marketplace, marriage and family, or community efforts. It is for ladies with great potential seeking to launch the next phase of their lives. However, because of life circumstances have had limited opportunities, limited exposure, education or trained to achieve their God given purpose and make a difference in their community.

HOW WILL IT BE EXECUTED

  • It is a six (6) month program designed to help train and prepare persons to begin to walk in the fullness of their purpose and destiny.

  • Meetings are held bi-weekly for (3) three hours on Sundays 5-8pm and Saturdays 11am- 2:00pm. There is the exceptional Saturday or midweek session with special guest speakers, field trips or community outreach events. Sessions will be held via virtual live training platforms as well as interface corporate meetings

  • Mentor Program:  Naomi-Ruth or Mordechai-Esther) There will be a team of mature believers (DOZ members) who will function as Mentors in the Program. Each Mentor will be assigned to one Mentee the program. The participating Mentees will be accountable to their mentors who will interact with them often to discuss their progress, homework assignments, and other relevant issues from each session. This can be done via telephone or in person on a weekly basis. In turn, all Mentors will communicate with the Mentor Program Director and/or appointed Mentor Liaison to discuss the progress and concerns of their assigned mentees.

  • Counseling Spiritual & Emotional Counsel: As a part of the program each participant is required to have at least one Counseling session or emotional assessment.  This program promotes “wellness” which covers, emotional, spiritual and physical health. As such assessing the emotional and psychological state of the Mentees helps us in our efforts to offer the assistance they may need toward wholeness. As a part of the program we have qualified Counselors/therapist who have volunteered to assist in this regard. Each Mentee is required to have at least one counseling session or emotional assessment. This is to introduce them to counseling as a helpful tool in becoming whole if broken or working through any emotional, psychological or spiritual challenges. It will also help to better assess their needs and development throughout the program.   This informal assessment will determine whether the Mentee may need additional counseling which could be made available at a minimal cost.

  • Community Outreach: Before completion of the program, the Mentees are expected to participate in a Community outreach event, to visit with food and gifts i.e. Hospitals, Sick & Shut-in, assisted living, The Faith Center Dare to Care food distribution center, Women’s Shelter for Homeless, Youth Detention Center, etc.  In addition, the Mentees will be asked to serve as hostess at various High-powered business networking events, i.e. ICABA Business Alliance, Women of Distinction etc.

  • Guest Speakers: We will periodically invite guest speakers who are specialist in their field to conduct workshops or lectures i.e. leadership financial literacy, fitness, nutritionist, psychologist, makeup artist, ministers and other professionals.

  • Commitment: Each Mentee will be asked to sign a letter of commitment ensuring that they complete the entire program modules, activities, assigned homework, and Mentorship interaction. They will only be allowed to miss two sessions with a valid excuse.

  • Assessment: Various questionnaires, surveys and research will be executed to help in the assessment process; particularly for personality profile test, identification of core spiritual gifts and talents, fruits of the spirit, etc.

  • Leadership Development: This component will focus on identifying and activating leadership ability in all incoming DOZ and MOV mentees. There will be a specific leadership skill development session to cover various types of leadership, principles and skills to assist in leading a company, community, government office, movement or family. There will also be a leadership assessment component to uncover the leadership inherent style in each Mentee.  This segment will be taught virtually and face to face and will be conducted monthly by Leaders from our local business community, Faith-based organizations and government.

  • Internship:  After completion of the DOZ-MOV six (6) month certificate program, each graduate will have the opportunity to engage in a one year internship program. The internship will provide graduates of the Daughters of Zion and Men of Valor programs with unique leadership training opportunities, with varied exposures to organization in business, community relations, marketing, guests relations, special events, ministry and many others. DOZ-MOV will be partnering with The Faith Center, Urban League of Broward County, ICABA, Florida Memorial University, Jesus People Proclaim Boca Raton and other organizations.
